The Town of Cobourg Public Works and Engineering Division would like to inform residents of upcoming construction taking place on King Street West from the Cobourg Creek bridge to William/Ontario Street beginning the week of June 1, 2026.
The Town of Cobourg Public Works and Engineering Division would like to advise residents and visitors that Burnham Street is temporarily closed today (Saturday, April 25, 2026) from Westwood Drive to King Street West for emergency CN rail work. There is no access for vehicles or pedestrians from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or until work is completed).

The Town of Cobourg Public Works & Engineering Division would like to inform residents of intermittent lane closures and short-duration sidewalk closures downtown on Monday, January 19 and Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
The Public Works Division will be conducting overnight snow removal in Downtown Cobourg in the early morning hours of Thursday, January 8, 2026. Work will begin at 12 a.m. (midnight) and continue until approximately 7 a.m. on Thursday.
The Town of Cobourg is advising residents and visitors that the D’Arcy Street train tracks will be closed for both vehicle and pedestrian traffic from approximately 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, due to the CPKC Holiday Train arriving in town.
