Road Closure Reminders for Waterfront Festival and Canada Day

Cobourg, ON (June 26, 2026) – The Town of Cobourg would like to remind residents and visitors of the road closures taking place from June 26 to the morning of July 2, for the annual Cobourg Waterfront Festival and Town of Cobourg Canada Day celebrations.

Road Closures

• Friday, June 26 to Wednesday, July 1: The Esplanade including the Esplanade parking lots
• Saturday, June 27 to Wednesday, July 1: Charles Street and Division Street south of Albert Street
• Wednesday, July 1, only: King Street from William Street to D’Arcy Street will be closed starting at 7 a.m. until the Canada Day Parade is complete.
  • No overnight parking is permitted on King Street from Tuesday, June 30 to Wednesday, July 1. Vehicles left on King Street along the parade route on July 1 will be ticketed and towed.

Parking Lot Closures

• Albert Street parking lot: Closed Friday, June 26 through Wednesday, July 1
• Marina parking lot: Closed (except for boaters) Saturday, June 27, Sunday, June 28, and Wednesday, July 1
• The Esplanade Parking Lot: Closed from Friday, June 26 through Wednesday July 1
