It's Your Space
Are you between the ages of 12 and 18 and looking for a place to hang out, play games, be creative, relax or simply spend time with friends? Youth Zone is a free drop-in space for youth held at the Cobourg Community Centre providing members with a space to belong.
During the summer, Youth Zone will run on Wednesday and Friday evenings, offering a safe, welcoming, and supervised environment where youth can spend time however they choose. The space includes comfortable lounge seating, healthy snacks, a gaming console, board games, crafts, and study areas. In the fall, Youth Zone will expand to include more opportunities and activities.
Location: Youth Zone / Seniors Room | Monday to Friday | 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Gym Hours: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Free Membership
To attend, youth must become a Youth Zone member. Upon their first visit, they will complete a membership form with basic information, including their name, age, and emergency contact details. Each time they attend, they must check in at the Youth Zone room upon arrival. Check-out is not required when leaving.
