In preparation for Sandcastle Festival weekend, the Town of Cobourg would like to provide residents and guests with important reminders so that everyone can enjoy a safe and fun long weekend.

323 King Street West, Cobourg, also known as “The Field House” is a detached, 1 ½-storey brick structure constructed in the Ontario Regency Cottage style and was completed circa 1847.  

The Town of Cobourg would like to inform the community of a speed reduction on King Street East from D’Arcy Street to Maplewood Boulevard. 

In response to the heat and poor air quality, the Town of Cobourg would like to remind all residents that the Victoria Hall lobby is open to all members of the public who require temporary respite.

The Town of Cobourg Legislative Services Division would like to inform all residents that pursuant to section 5.6 of the Town of Cobourg Procedural By-law a Special Meeting of Council has been called of Municipal Council scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 1 p.m. 

Zoning by-laws are the rules that guide how land and buildings can be used. They help ensure that development happens in an orderly, safe, and sustainable way by setting standards for things like building height, setbacks, land use, and parking.

The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents that filming for a new series entitled “The Greatest” will be taking place in Cobourg on July 8, 2025.
