Cobourg, ON (September 30, 2022) – The Town of Cobourg would like to inform residents of road closures and a detour route set-up for this Saturday, October 1, 2022.
King Street from Spring Street to Division Street will be closed on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the Cobourg Downtown Business Improvement Area’s (DBIA) Harvest Festival. Second Street will also be closed.
There is a detour route set-up for east-bound King Street traffic. Vehicles will be detoured northbound on Spring Street to University Avenue, east on University Avenue and then south on Division Street back to King Street. There will be orange follow D1 signs in place with proper turning arrows to direct traffic.
Harvest Festival
The Harvest Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, along King Street from Spring Street to Division Street. Second Street will be closed for vendors to use for this event.
Albert Street at Division Street is Closed
Albert Street, from Division Street to Third Street is closed to through traffic due to construction. There is no access to Albert Street parking lots from the intersection of Division Street and Albert Street. This section of Albert Street will remain closed until November 30, 2022.
Municipal parking lots (Victoria Square Parking Lot, Second Street Lot, Third Street Lot, and Albert Street Lot) remain open, however, accessible only from the west.

Please note, the Albert Street Parking Lot is Waterfront parking until Thanksgiving. Waterfront parking rates apply.
Marina Boat Lift-Out and Hauling Operations
