    Venture13 Receives $100K Investment from Fleming College

    The Town of Cobourg and the Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) are pleased to receive a $100,000 investment from Fleming College that will go towards supporting technical components within the Venture13 Innovation Centre while also accelerating innovative programming. 

    The investment go towards outfitting seminar rooms and the lecture theatre with state-of-the-art audio visual suites that will allow for real-time remote lecturing providing a great user experience. Read our press release.

    Vacancy Rebate Public Information Centre

    On March 21, Northumberland County will be hosting a Public Information Centre to seek feedback about a program that delivers tax rebates to owners of vacant commercial and industrial properties. 

    The Open House will take place from 4-7 p.m. at the Northumberland County building at 555 Courthouse Road, Cobourg. Read more here.

    Congratulations to the Fire Department for their This is Cobourg campaign presented at last night’s Committee of the Whole Meeting.

    Cobourg’s East Pier Closed to Community Events and Vehicular Access

    We would like to advise citizens and community organizations that the East Pier will be undergoing a condition assessment and will remain closed to community events and vehicular access until further notice. The East Pier will remain open for pedestrian use only.
