  • Downtown CIP Program

    2019 Downtown Cobourg Vitalization Community Improvement Plan Available

    In April 2019 Council approved the 2019 budget, which included $75,000 for the Downtown Vitalization Community Improvement Program (CIP). 

    The Town will be offering an intake opportunity in 2019 for properties located within the defined eligible project area below. Incentives contained within the CIP include grants and/or loans for work proposed under a variety of programs. The deadline is Friday July 5, 2019.

  • Greenhouse Openhouse

    You're Invited to the Town's Greenhouse Open House!

    Our Parks staff have been busy seeding and transplanting the flowers that will be planted in this year’s public flower beds and hung in flower baskets around town. Tour the Greenhouse to see what flowers will be planted in this year’s gardens. A Gerbera Daisy will be given to the first 100 attendees while supplies last.

    Date: Saturday May 11, 2019. 
    Time: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    Location: 501 Thompson St, Cobourg, ON.

  • masters of disaster summer camp

    Registration Begins for Masters of Disaster Summer Camp!

    The Town of Cobourg's Emergency Management team and the Community Services Division is pleased to announce that you can now enroll into the Masters of Disaster summer camp for the 2019 season. 

    Dates: The camp will run from July 15-19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
    Age Requirement: 8-13 years of age
    Cost: $135 + HST/child

    Canada Day Applications Now Being Accepted

    The Town of Cobourg is pleased to be inviting and accepting applications for the 2019 Canada Day Parade. Our theme is "The Great Outdoors". Complete the parade application now.

    Cobourg Council Approves 2019 Municipal Operating & Capital Budget

    Cobourg Council has adopted the 2019 Municipal Operating and Capital Budgets with a 1.6% tax increase from rates on prior existing assessment, which equates to an increase of approximately $4 on the Town portion of the average home assessed by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) at $266 869.
