    Movies in the Park Returns with Amazing Lineup!

     The Town of Cobourg is excited to announce another great lineup of films planned for this summer’s ‘Movies in the Park’. 

    July 13th - Shrek
    August 3rd - Ralph Breaks the Internet
    August 24th - Night at the Museum

    All movies will begin at 8:30 p.m. with the Beach Hut canteen and washrooms remaining open for the duration of each movie.

    Planning staff conducted research, consultations and surveys with other Ontario municipalities and land use planners to better understand the various approaches used to notify and engage the public on applications made under the Planning Act.

    New Projects, Partnerships and Startups Featured at Venture13 Innovation Centre One-Year Anniversary Celebration

    The Venture13 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre’s (Venture13) Board of Partners celebrated its one-year anniversary in Cobourg, Ontario, on May 21st and shared news with the community about three landmark projects that will help drive the centre’s growth and development through 2019 and beyond.

  • Downtown CIP Program

    2019 Downtown Cobourg Vitalization Community Improvement Plan Available

    In April 2019 Council approved the 2019 budget, which included $75,000 for the Downtown Vitalization Community Improvement Program (CIP). 

    The Town will be offering an intake opportunity in 2019 for properties located within the defined eligible project area below. Incentives contained within the CIP include grants and/or loans for work proposed under a variety of programs. The deadline is Friday July 5, 2019.

    Registration Begins for Masters of Disaster Summer Camp!

    The Town of Cobourg's Emergency Management team and the Community Services Division is pleased to announce that you can now enroll into the Masters of Disaster summer camp for the 2019 season. 

    Dates: The camp will run from July 15-19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
    Age Requirement: 8-13 years of age
    Cost: $135 + HST/child

    Canada Day Applications Now Being Accepted

    The Town of Cobourg is pleased to be inviting and accepting applications for the 2019 Canada Day Parade. Our theme is "The Great Outdoors". Complete the parade application now.
