The Town of Cobourg has established a working group tasked to review municipal by-laws with input from the appropriate Municipal Council Coordinator, Staff, Committee/Local Board representatives and general public.

Input from the general public will be solicited through Feedback/Comment Sheets (which will be published on the municipal website and in local newspapers, and available in the Municipal Offices) and Public Open House meetings.

The following by-laws were passed by Council on December 19, 2011:

076-2011 - The by-law is for the imposition of Development Charges.
077-2011 - The by-law establishes water rates and wastewater rates.
078-2011 - The by-law amends Parking By-law No. 059-2009. (Fire Routes & No Parking)

The following by-laws were passed by Council on December 5, 2011:

071-2011 - The by-law authorized execution of an agreement with Bakkavour Foods Canada Incorporated for the discharge of industrial sanitary waste.
072-2011 - The by-law prohibits the operation of motorized snow and all-terrain vehicles in the Town of Cobourg.
073-2011 - The by-law amends Zoning By-law No. 085-2003 (LCBO)
074-2011 - The by-law authorizes a development agreement for 774 Ontario Street.
075-2011 - The by-law amends Zoning By-law No. 085-2003 (774 Ontario Street).

Strategic Plan 2011 - 2014

The Town of Cobourg Municipal Council adopted the 2011-2014 Strategic Plan, outlining the Community Vision, Mission Statement and Strategic Actions to accomplish these goals.

2011-2014 Strategic Plan
