Town of Cobourg Mayor Lucas Cleveland is pleased to invite Cobourg youth in Grades 7-10 to apply for the “Mayor for the Day” contest, with applications being accepted from September 8 to October 17, 2025.

A Public Meeting will be held on September 17, 2025, to review the Development Charges Update Study for the Town of Cobourg.

Cobourg, ON (August 29, 2025) – The Town of Cobourg Development Division would like to inform the community of an upcoming public meeting regarding a development application for 202 Second Street.

A Special Meeting of Council has been called of Municipal Council scheduled to take place on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 6 p.m.

Mayor Cleveland would like to advise residents and local business owners that applications are being accepted for the Community Led Task Force.

The Town of Cobourg would like to inform the community of a new way to access council agendas and bylaws.

323 King Street West, Cobourg, also known as “The Field House” is a detached, 1 ½-storey brick structure constructed in the Ontario Regency Cottage style and was completed circa 1847.  

I have full faith that the Cobourg Police Service will investigate this unfortunate incident appropriately. 

The Town of Cobourg Legislative Services Division would like to inform all residents that pursuant to section 5.6 of the Town of Cobourg Procedural By-law a Special Meeting of Council has been called of Municipal Council scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 1 p.m. 

Zoning by-laws are the rules that guide how land and buildings can be used. They help ensure that development happens in an orderly, safe, and sustainable way by setting standards for things like building height, setbacks, land use, and parking.
