Cobourg, ON (March 4, 2024) – The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents of work being done at the Brook Rd. Pump Station.
On Tuesday, March 5, the Town of Cobourg will be conducting maintenance at the Brook Rd. Sanitary Pumping Station, located at 451 Lakeshore Dr. This scheduled maintenance will include replacing a section of Pump Valves and Piping. To complete the required maintenance, vacuum trucks will be used to divert wastewater from the site to Water Pollution Control Plant #2.
Area residents can expect slightly slower traffic in the area between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. due to trucks moving in and out of the area. No road closures will be required and there is no impact to resident’s water supply. If residents can avoid doing laundry or running their dishwashers between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on March 5th that would assist crews in completing this task more efficiently.
