Cobourg, ON (March 14, 2022) – The Town of Cobourg’s Legislative Services Division is pleased to announce the launch of cobourgvotes.ca, a website dedicated to keeping residents informed during the 2022 Municipal and School Board Election.
The upcoming municipal election will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022. The four-year term of office starts November 15, 2022, and will end on November 14, 2026.
“We are excited to launch cobourgvotes.ca to share timely and important information with residents throughout this year’s election process,” said Brent Larmer, Director of Legislative Services and Municipal Clerk and Election Returning Officer for the Town of Cobourg. “Municipal Council decisions affect the daily lives of all residents. Cobourg residents are encouraged to get involved, stay informed, and exercise their right to vote and consider running for local government.”
The Town of Cobourg is continuing to make voting easy and convenient and allow residents to ‘Vote Anywhere’ which gives you the flexibility to cast your ballot across many electronic platforms and the option to call in your vote through telephone.

The voting period will begin in the Town of Cobourg on Friday October 14, 2022, at 9 a.m. to October 24, 2022, at 8 p.m. Voting in the 2022 Municipal Election will be by telephone or Internet.
