Town of Cobourg Declares Significant Weather Event and Snow Event
Due to the worsening weather forecast with significant amounts of snowfall the Town of Cobourg is declaring a Significant Weather Event and a Snow Event. There is no parking on any roads within a municipality, and vehicles parked on the roadway may be ticketed or towed. Read the full notice.

The Cobourg Community Centre offers a variety of camps designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and foster community. From creative projects to energetic games, our camps provide a safe, welcoming environment where children can explore their interests and build lasting memories.
2026 March Break Camp
What do the ocean, space and superheroes all have in common? They are all themes for the 2026 March Break Camp! Join us for a week filled with games, crafts, ice time, community outings, and themed adventures for children ages 4 to 10.
Registration opens February 2, 2026.
*Please note: if you prefer your child not to participate in community outings, they will need to be signed out for the duration of the outing and may return once staff have arrived back at the CCC.

Monday, March 16: Under the Sea
Dive into a week of fun as campers kick off their March break with a splash of undersea adventure. Monday sets the tone with an ocean‑inspired day filled with colourful crafts and fin-tastic games. It is sure to be a whale of a time!
Tuesday, March 17: Superhero Day
On Tuesday we invite campers to step into their own comic‑book world, unleashing imagination, and big heroic energy. Throughout the day, kids will create their own hero personas, power up with movement‑based challenges, and team up for action‑packed games that spark creativity and collaboration.
Make sure to pack skates and a hockey helmet! Campers will be hitting the ice for a fun skate together.
Wednesday, March 19: Nature Explorers
Calling mother nature! Wednesday brings a day of wild imagination as campers explore the wonders of the great outdoors through nature-inspired crafts and games.
Thursday, March 19: Space Adventure
Blast off with us on Thursday as campers become astronauts-in-training and spend the day exploring galaxies of creativity, movement, and imagination. From building rockets to navigating cosmic challenges, it is a star‑powered journey that is out of this world.
Make sure to pack skates and a hockey helmet! Campers will be hitting the ice for a fun skate together.
Friday, March 20: Carnival Day
We are wrapping the week with a burst of excitement as Carnival Day takes over! Campers will enjoy lively carnival‑style games, music, crafts, silly hats and a memorable sendoff as we celebrate all the fun we had together.
