Victoria Hall Chiller Replacement Project Update

Cobourg, ON (May 7, 2026) – The Town of Cobourg Corporate Services Division would like to update residents and visitors on the Victoria Hall Chiller and Cooling Plant Replacement project.

The Town’s Building Maintenance and Services department is coordinating the replacement of Victoria Hall’s Chiller and Cooling Plant. The arrival and installation of the permanent chiller units have been delayed due to a supply chain issue. Due to this, and the warming temperatures, the Town will be bringing in a temporary chiller unit, which is expected to be operational by May 15, 2026.

The trailer-mounted temporary unit will be located at the rear of the building. The area around the trailer, as well as the ramp between the fire hall theatre and the maintenance building, will be fenced off during this time.
