Upcoming Utility Work on Covert Street
Cobourg, ON (October 8, 2026) – The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents that Lakefront Utilities Inc. will be completing upgrades to the electrical grid on Covert Street and the Covert Street parking lot from October 13 to 23, 2026.
Covert Street will remain open while the work is underway. A detour will be in place through the Covert Street parking lot to help maintain access and traffic flow. Please refer to the map below for the construction area and detour route.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use caution around the work area and follow posted signs and directions. Any electrical outages will be communicated to affected customers in advance.
