Special Council Meeting Called for June 16 at 1 p.m.
Cobourg, ON (June 11, 2026) – The Town of Cobourg Legislative Services Division would like to inform all residents that pursuant to section 5.6 of the Town of Cobourg Procedural By-law, the Mayor has called a Special Meeting of Council to take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 1 p.m.
The meeting is being held to consider the Development Charge Reduction Program, being part of the $8.8 billion Canada-Ontario Partnership to Build with federal funding delivered through the Build Communities Strong Fund’s Provincial and Territorial stream. A staff report and presentation will be added prior to the meeting.
The agenda will be posted on the Town website. Members of the public may attend the meeting in-person, in Council Chambers at Victoria Hall, or view the livestream at https://calendar.cobourg.ca/council. If you have any questions or would like to provide feedback, please email clerk@cobourg.ca.
