Ribfest Weekend Returns and End of Summer Events in Cobourg

Cobourg, ON (August 16, 2024) – The Community Services Division would like to inform residents the popular Northumberland Ribfest and Music Festival is returning to Victoria Park this weekend.

The Rotary Club of Cobourg will be welcoming some of North America’s best ribbers to town for the 2024 Northumberland Ribfest, August 16-18 in Victoria Park, Cobourg. The weekend will feature musical performances by Bruce Longman Trio, Blue Sky Flyers Band, Wicklow, Harley and the Howlers, Offbeats, Steel Horse Gypsies, Shania Twin, Midnight Special and Max-Life Crises! Admission is free, and donations to the Rotary Club of Cobourg will be accepted.

This event is a fundraiser to help the Rotary Club of Cobourg support worthy causes at home and abroad.

Special Presentation from CFB Trenton
On Friday, August 16 at 2 p.m. watch in awe as the 424 Sqn SAR Techs jump out of a Hercules aircraft and parachute onto Cobourg Beach! This thrilling demo is brought to you by Cobourg Rotary and CFB Trenton.

The Concert Band of Cobourg

Victoria Hall Tours

Explore the beautiful historic Victoria Hall building with a guided 45-minute tour showcasing various aspects of the architectural building. The Victoria Hall tours are conducted by our Experience Ambassador every Thursday morning from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Booking a time is encouraged, walk-ins are only available when the schedule permits. Strong Kids Duathlon

The Strong Kids Duathlon is not just any race; it is an inspiring combination of running and swimming challenges that showcase the spirit of young athletes. This year, funds raised will support the Mothers of Newborns program. YMCA Membership is not required to participate in the Strong Kids Duathlon – any child aged 3 to 15 can register and participate in this event (cost: $15).

Movies in the Park
