Notice of Public Meeting for Comprehensive Zoning By-law Administrative Updates
Zoning By-law Amendment
Cobourg, ON (August 5, 2026) – The Corporation of the Town of Cobourg would like to inform residents that the Town is proposing administrative changes to Comprehensive Zoning By-Law 066-2025 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c.P. 13, as amended.
The Municipal Council of the Town of Cobourg will hold a Public Meeting regarding the aforementioned on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 3rd Floor East Wing, Victoria Hall, 55 King Street West, Cobourg in accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c.P. 13, as amended.
The Zoning By-law Amendment proposed several small administrative updates to Comprehensive Zoning By-law 066-2025 to address errors in definitions, regulations, and mapping relating to mapping errors, definitions, parking requirements, land use permissions, general provisions, and other matters.
This Zoning By-law Amendment applies to all lands subject to Comprehensive Zoning By-law 066-2025. Please refer to the attached Key Map. Larger maps are available upon request.
Public Meeting Details
This Public Meeting will begin at 5:00 PM. and is being held using a hybrid meeting model. The public may view the Council meeting in person or online via the Town of Cobourg live stream.
Written submissions to the Clerk are encouraged and will be made available to Council and added to the agenda, they may be submitted via email to clerk@cobourg.ca or in-person at Victoria Hall, 55 King Street West.
