Nominations Reopen for 2026–2027 Accessibility Awards
New nomination deadline is February 28, 2027
Cobourg, ON (October 29, 2026) – The Town of Cobourg’s Accessibility Advisory Committee would like to inform the public that applications for the 2026-2027 Accessibility Awards have been combined, and applications are being accepted until February 28, 2027.
The Accessibility Awards Program is designed to celebrate businesses, community members, organizations, and youth who are championing initiatives that create a more accessible and inclusive community for residents of all abilities.
Community members are invited to nominate Cobourg residents, organizations or businesses who have demonstrated positive accessibility contribution in the past three years. Nominations previously submitted for the 2026 Accessibility Awards will still be considered and do not need to be resubmitted.
How to Submit a Nomination
Nominations will be accepted until February 28, 2027. The application form and additional information is available at www.Cobourg.ca/accessibilityawards or in person at the Clerk’s Department at Victoria Hall, 55 King Street West, Cobourg.
