New Experience Cobourg Tourism Information Hub Opens

Cobourg, ON (June 11, 2026) – The Town of Cobourg is pleased to announce the opening of the new Experience Cobourg Tourism Information Hub, a welcoming space designed to connect visitors and residents with local experiences, attractions, events, and businesses.

Located at 35 Albert Street in Rotary Harbourfront Park, the hub will serve as a central point for discovering everything Cobourg has to offer. The space is designed to welcome visitors, showcase local attractions, support businesses, and help both residents and tourists explore the community.

The hub features informational materials, as well as locally inspired merchandise, including clothing offered by the Victoria Hall Volunteers. The site will be staffed by the Experience Cobourg team and includes on-site amenities such as washroom access and a security presence to support a safe and welcoming environment.

Cobourg’s peak tourism season runs from May through October, drawing thousands of visitors and residents to the Town’s waterfront, downtown, and diverse arts, cultural, and recreational offerings. Signature events such as the Sandcastle Festival and Waterfront Festival, along with the campground and marina, continue to attract strong visitation.

Official Opening

The community is invited to attend the official opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Experience Cobourg Tourism Information Hub on Friday, June 12 at 11 a.m.

Attendees are encouraged to meet the Experience Cobourg team, explore the new space, and learn more about upcoming initiatives and community partnerships.

Hours of Operation

The Tourism Information Hub will be open seven days a week from June 12 through August 31, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the possibility of extended hours based on staffing availability, as well as select hours through September and October.
