Engage Cobourg Invites Community Feedback on New Websites

Cobourg, ON (February 25, 2026) – The Town of Cobourg Communications Department is seeking public feedback on the corporate and tourism websites through a brief survey on EngageCobourg.ca.

Community members are invited to take a few minutes to provide feedback on the websites’ functionality, usability, and overall effectiveness. The survey is open until Wednesday, March 18, 2026, and can be accessed at EngageCobourg.ca.

Project Background
The Town of Cobourg website is the primary platform for sharing information and connecting with the community online. In 2025, the Town launched new platforms for Cobourg.ca and ExperienceCobourg.ca, replacing the corporate site’s previous platform, which had reached the end of its lifecycle.

The Cobourg.ca homepage now features a Google-powered search bar that retrieves content from both sites. The new websites also offer intuitive navigation menus, user-friendly design, and improved accessibility and responsiveness across devices. 

What We Hope to Learn
This short survey gathers public feedback on the functionality, usability, and overall effectiveness of these websites to help guide future improvements. It also asks which website services or features residents would like explained through how-to videos or guides as part of an upcoming educational series.

Responses are anonymous and will support the Town’s Service Excellence goals. Survey results will also be compared to findings from the Engage Cobourg Website Development survey conducted in 2024.
