Election Reminder: How to Obtain Your Voter Instruction Letter
Cobourg, ON (October 19, 2026) – The Town of Cobourg’s Legislative Services Division is reminding residents who have not yet received their Voter Instruction Letter (VIL) to visit the Clerk’s Office or a Voter Help Centre to confirm their registration and obtain their VIL.
The Town thanks all residents who used the Voter Lookup tool to check their information and confirm they are on the Voters List. Residents who added themselves to the Voters List after October 8, 2026, must pick up their VIL in person from the Clerk’s Office at Victoria Hall or a Voter Help Centre during its hours of operation. When picking up a VIL, please remember to bring photo identification that includes proof of qualifying address.
