Community Invited to Municipal Greenhouse Open House

Cobourg, ON (April 28, 2026) – The Town of Cobourg’s Community Services Division invites all residents to attend an Open House at the Town of Cobourg Greenhouse on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 501 Thompson Street, Cobourg.

Join the Town Horticulture Team for guided tours of the greenhouse where you will learn how staff seed and transplant the annuals and perennials that will soon brighten Cobourg’s public flower beds and hanging baskets.

Event highlights include:                                                                  

• Guided tours led by the Town’s Horticulture Team
• A behind-the-scenes look at how thousands of annuals and perennials are grown and prepared for Cobourg’s gardens
• Historic photo albums showcasing past Floral Clock designs
• Complimentary coffee and refreshments
• BBQ lunch served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
