Remembrance Day Memorial Banners

These banners, made possible through a partnership between the Town of Cobourg and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 133, pay tribute to those whose courage, dedication and service helped protect the freedoms we enjoy today.
As you walk through downtown, take a moment to stop, reflect and remember the individuals behind each banner. Individual Memorial Banners have been made possible through the generous support of community members who wish to honour the memory and recognize the service and contributions of their family members and friends.
Community members can participate in the Cobourg Legion's Honour Our Veterans Banner Program by sponsoring a banner in memory of or in recognition of a Veteran. Banners are $275, inclusive. Application forms and additional information are available on the Cobourg Legion website.
The Town of Cobourg encourages residents to take part in these important community observances and join together in remembering and honouring Canada's Veterans.
