Eastern Ontario Development Fund |
Eastern Ontario Development Fund gives money to businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. The fund may provide up to 15% of eligible project costs for a maximum grant of $1.5 million with the business contributing up to 50% of total costs. NRC-IRAP tailor their services to your local context and specific technical and business needs. They are co-located with a wide range of partner organizations focused on supporting small and medium-sized businesses including local associations, universities and colleges as well as other science and technology departments and institutes. |
Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) |
Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) provides loans of up to $250,000 for qualifying startups and medium-sized enterprises. The Canadian Agricultural Partnership is a five-year commitment by Canada's federal, provincial and territorial governments that supports Canada's agri-food and agri-products sectors.
Strategic Initiatives - including cost-share funding - support projects in the following key priority areas, with research and innovation continuing to be a focus across all programming.
OMAFRA: Projects will focus on helping to build a strong labour force for agri-food and agri-product sectors by implementing new, enhanced or expanded activities for attracting, training and retaining labour.

Hiring, Training & Apprenticeship Incentives |
Apprenticeship Job Creation Tax Credit |
The Apprenticeship Job Creation Tax Credit (AJCTC) is a non-refundable tax credit to employers who hire an eligible apprentice. This non-refundable tax credit provides 10% of the eligible salaries and wages payable to eligible apprentices in respect of employment after May 1st, 2006. Employers can claim up to $2000 per year for each eligible apprentice. If you business hires an eligible apprentice, you qualify to claim the credit. |
Canada Ontario Job Grant |
The Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG) is support for employers who are looking to purchase training for their employees. |
