(Issued July 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. EST) – The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents and visitors that the Victoria Park Beach is now closed for the day due to its maximum capacity of 1,200 being reached.
This means that anyone currently travelling to the beach will not be permitted access onto the beach for the remainder of the day, and that anyone who has already gained access to the beach will not be permitted back in once they leave.
The Victoria Park Beach will re-open to the general public tomorrow during regular operational hours from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m., will remain closed on the weekends and all statutory holidays.
