Cobourg, ON (July 21, 2022) – The Town of Cobourg Community Services Division is proud to announce that the Tony Award-winning Roald Dahl's, Matilda the Musical, presented by North Stage productions will be coming to the Concert Hall at Victoria Hall.

Inspired by the twisted genius of Roald Dahl, Matilda the Musical revels in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination and the inspiring story of a girl who dreams of a better life. With book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, this captivating masterpiece from the Royal Shakespeare Company has won 47 international awards and continues to thrill sold-out audiences of all ages around the world.

Matilda features a thrilling cast of actors seen across the stages and screens of North America, including 11-year-old, Indigo Chesser of Peterborough County as one of the two actors in the title role. Led by Director Dahlia Katz, and Musical Director, Michael Spiroff, the performance brings the vivid imagination of young Matilda to life on stage.

Show Times:
The show will run from Thursday, August 25 to Monday, August 29, 2022, at the Concert Hall at Victoria Hall with evening and matinée performances:

• Thursday, August 25^th: 7:30 p.m.
• Friday, August 26^th: 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, August 27^th: 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
• Sunday, August 28^th: 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
• Monday, August 29^th: 1:30 p.m.

Tickets are available online, through the Cobourg Box Office, $45.42 for general admission, $35.76 for students and $25.13 for children.
