Beginning September 22, 2021, Ontario will require proof of vaccination focused on indoor public settings. All Ontarians who registered their vaccines are being encouraged to download their vaccine receipt as proof of their vaccine status until an enhanced vaccine certificate with a QR code is available. Currently, vaccine receipts are available in PDF form to be downloaded or printed to your computer, phone, or tablet.

Libraries recognize that not all members of their community have the equipment or technology required in order to download and print their vaccine receipt. In response to this need, many public libraries in Ontario are providing members of their community a free copy of their vaccine certificate.

The Cobourg Public Library has made the decision to follow suit and will begin offering this same service.

As of Tuesday, September 7^th, 2021 the Cobourg Public Library will be offering:

• Print vaccine certificates free of charge to anyone who needs a copy (Note: the vaccine certificate shows that the person has received both doses of vaccine)
• We will print up to 2 (two) copies of the certificate
• We will continue to print free copies for as long as is needed
