***TEEN PROGRAMS***

Teen Cozy Winter Reads - All Locations - Monday, December 1st to Sunday, December 14th - During Library Hours  

Visit the Teen Area to check out a YA book on display. Selected books will come paired with package of hot chocolate and a candy cane.

***ADULT PROGRAMS***

Bewdley Adult Craft Night - Take and Make Kit - Pickup on Wednesday, December 3rd between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m.

This month will be a simple Take and Make. Using paper bag, glue and twine patrons will be creating paper stars to hang on their walls.
No experience necessary.  Most materials required will be provided.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED to pick up. Registration opens December 1st at 10:00 a.m.
Space is limited and registration is required.

  • Friday, December 19th - Holiday Party - Wrap up the year in good company! Join us for sweet treats, laughter, and lively conversation. Reconnect with familiar faces, meet new friends, and share the joy of the season; because the best holiday memories are made together.

What it is: Reindeer Snow Globe kit to make a festive ornament.

Family Storytime - Cobourg Library

Thursdays - 10:30 a.m.
Join us this month for stories, songs and rhymes.  A great program for school readiness and meeting other families in our community.
Drop-in program.  Ages 0 to 6 years with Parent/Guardian.
Holiday Family Storytime with hot chocolate and cookies will be on Thursday, December 18th
Note: There is no storytime on Thursday, Dec 25th or Thurs Jan 1st

Family Storytime - Bewdley Branch

Fridays - 10:00 a.m.
Join Library staff each week while we explore a different theme through stories, songs and a craft.

Junior Bakers Make Holiday Cookies - Cold Springs Branch

Wednesday, December 17th at 4:00 p.m.
Ages 6 to 12
Get ready to bake some delicious holiday cookies at the library! 
This program is a fantastic opportunity to learn basic baking skills, make new friends, and enjoy a tasty treat.

Storybook Snowmen Scavenger Hunt - All Library Locations

Monday, December 22nd to Sunday, January 4th - During Library Hours
Find the storybook snowmen hidden in the Youth area. Do you know which storybooks they came from? Win a prize if you find them all!

TECH BUDDIES - Cobourg Library - Rotary Room

Tuesday, December 2nd, Wednesday December 3rd, Thursday, December 4th - 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Tech troubles?  Trinity College School Students are here to assist!  Drop-in for assistance with basic technology help.  
Kindly note that there may be a bit of a wait depending on the volume of interest.  Remember to bring the tech you need help with!

  • Nov 21st - Learn about the Ontario Health at Home program. They provided a range of community-based health services, including home care, long-term care placements, and referrals to other community programs.
  • Nov 28th - SCAN – Seniors for Climate Action Now. Join Dennis Layton to learn about SCAN’s local climate initiatives and how you can help. Discover ways to take action and get involved in the community.

Bewdley Festive Celebration - Saturday, November 29th - 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Alice D. Behan Bewdley Library will be opening early for some holiday cheer.
Browse the mini book sale and enjoy the children's seasonal craft table. 
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present for free visits and photos. The Bewdley Community Works will also be holding their annual
kids shop.
Everyone is welcome.
