Waterfront Parking Takes Effect Victoria Day Weekend

Cobourg, ON (May 16, 2025) – The Town of Cobourg would like to remind all residents and guests that Waterfront Parking takes effect starting Victoria Day weekend (May 17, 2025) to Thanksgiving Day.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to purchase their passes online at parking.cobourg.ca or visit the Municipal Law Enforcement office, located in the Market Building at 201 Second Street. Those purchasing their passes in person, are reminded to know the license plate(s) and make of the vehicle, and bring photo ID. One pass is permitted per Cobourg residential address. Residents can register up to two vehicles per pass, however only one vehicle can utilize the pass at a time.

Waterfront Parking Pass Options Include:

  • Daily Waterfront Parking Pass - $40/day (Victoria Day Weekend to Thanksgiving Day): Eligible in all on-street and pay and display lots except for the Charles Street lot which is reserved for Cobourg residents only.
  • Resident Waterfront Season Pass - (Victoria Day Weekend to Thanksgiving Day): Eligible in all on-street and pay and display waterfront areas.
    • $40/season – Cobourg Residents
    • $20/season – East Beach Area residents
  • Visitor Waterfront Season Pass - $150/season. The parking pass will be available for non-residents to utilize all season long. Eligible in all on-street and pay and display lots except for the Charles Street lot.

East Beach Parking Area
On-street parking, east of Victoria Park (as shown on the map) is the East Beach parking area. Paid parking in this area is available using a Waterfront Pass (Daily or Resident Pass) or Honk Mobile. Hours of enforcement in the East Beach Parking Area is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Overnight parking at the Cobourg waterfront is available only within the East Beach parking area and at the Marina Parking Lot.
