Victoria Hall Closed at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9

Cobourg, ON (December 4, 2025) –The Town of Cobourg wishes to inform residents and visitors that due to testing taking place for the generator relocation construction project, Victoria Hall will be closed to the public at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9.

For those who may be looking for a temporary warming space, the Cobourg Public Library (200 Ontario Street) is open until 8 p.m. that day.

Generator Project
Work on the permanent installation of the existing generator at Victoria Hall is underway and expected to be completed by year-end. The diesel generator, located in a trailer behind the main Victoria Hall building, will be removed and a new pad on the southwest side of Victoria Hall will be installed.
