Victoria Day Events and Municipal Building Closures

Cobourg, ON (May 14, 2025) – The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents that municipal buildings will be closed for the Victoria Day holiday on Monday, May 19, 2025.

The building closures include Victoria Hall, the Cobourg Community Centre, the Cobourg Public Library, Public Works Building 7 and the Venture13 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre.

Cobourg Transit will be running its regular service hours.

Movies Under the Stars
Join us for the first 2025 Movies Under the Stars event on Saturday, May 17, starting at 8:30 p.m. in the Rotary Harbourfront Park (110 Albert Street). The movie Despicable Me 4 will be played, starting at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.) on an outdoor inflatable movie screen.

Grab a blanket, bug spray, lawn chair and popcorn and join us for some fun for the whole family. This free event is brought to you by Experience Cobourg and event sponsor, Milner Financial.

Fireworks Display
Due to inclement weather, the First Night fireworks had to be rescheduled and will take place on Saturday, May 17, immediately following the movie (approximately 10 p.m.). Enjoy watching the fireworks display over the Harbour.
