Two Hours of Free Parking in Downtown Cobourg Until January 1, 2026

Cobourg, ON (November 14, 2025) – The Town of Cobourg and the Cobourg Downtown Business Improvement Area (DBIA) are pleased to offer two hours of free parking for downtown shoppers from November 1, 2025, to January 1, 2026.

The free two-hour parking period applies to all downtown metered streets and municipal parking lots and aims to encourage residents and visitors to shop locally and support downtown businesses.

Regular downtown meter rates are $2.25 per hour. Vehicles parked beyond the two-hour free period will be subject to regular enforcement and may receive parking tickets.

Mayor Lucas Cleveland, Town Council, and the Cobourg DBIA encourage everyone to take advantage of this initiative and support the local business community.
