Special Council Meeting Called Tuesday, June 4, 2024

Cobourg, ON (May 31, 2024) – The Town of Cobourg Legislative Services Division would like to inform all residents that a Special Meeting of Council will take place on Tuesday, June 4, immediately following the Strategic Priorities and Policy Standing Committee, which is schedule for 1 p.m.

In accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, Council will meet in Closed Session regarding the following:

• personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees (s. 239 (2) (b)) and;
• advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose (s. 239 (2) (f))

Please be advised that pursuant to section 5.5 of the Town of Cobourg Procedural By-law a Special Meeting has been called for the purposes of meeting in Closed Session.

The Public will see a Closed Session screen on the livestream of the Special Meeting indicating Council is in Closed Session.
