Special Council Meeting Called for May 5, 2025

Cobourg, ON (May 1, 2025) – The Town of Cobourg Legislative Services Division would like to inform all residents that a Special Meeting of Council will take place on Monday, May 5, 2025.

Pursuant to section 5.6 of the Town of Cobourg Procedural By-law a Special Meeting of Council has been called, scheduled to take place on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 5 p.m. The agenda has been posted on the municipal website.

The meeting is being held to consider the following items:

• Report from the Director of Public Works and Presentation from Watson and Associates Economists Ltd. regarding the Town of Cobourg Preliminary Results of the Asset Management Financial Strategy; and
• Report from the Treasurer/Director of Corporate Services regarding the Financial Sustainability Plan; and
• Report from the 2025 AMO Delegation Submissions.

This Special Council Meeting will be held using a hybrid meeting model. Members of Council and Municipal Staff will have the choice to participate in-person in Council Chambers or to participate virtually via electronic participation.
