Special Council Meeting Called for January 20 at 5 p.m.

Cobourg, ON (January 16, 2026) – The Town of Cobourg Legislative Services Division would like to inform all residents that pursuant to section 5.6 a) of the Town of Cobourg Procedural By-law a Special Meeting of Council has been called of Municipal Council scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 5 p.m.

The meeting is being held to consider the following items:

• Closed Session Item pertaining to litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board (s. 239 (2) (e)) regarding OLT Comprehensive Zoning By-law Appeal Submission
• Report No. DS-2026-001 regarding proposed updates to the New Comprehensive Zoning By-law regarding administrative and mapping corrections
• By-law No. 001-2026 to amend the Comprehensive Zoning By-law to correct the identified mapping issues
