Special Council Meeting Called for April 30, 2025

Cobourg, ON (April 23, 2025) – The Town of Cobourg Legislative Services Division would like to inform all residents that a Special Meeting of Council will take place on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

Pursuant to section 5.6 of the Town of Cobourg Procedural By-law a Special Meeting of Municipal Council has been called, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 2 p.m.

The meeting is being held to consider the following items:

• Report and Presentation from the Municipal Clerk/Director, Legislative Services regarding The Strong Mayor Powers legislation.

The agenda will be posted to the Town of Cobourg website, Cobourg.ca, April 25, 2025.

This Special Council Meeting will be held using a hybrid meeting model. Members of Council and Municipal Staff will have the choice to participate in-person in Council Chambers or to participate virtually via electronic participation.
