Rotary Grant Invests in Future Youth STEM Camps at Venture13

$5,000 Donation from Rotary Club of Cobourg Expands Year-Round STEM Opportunities for Local Youth

Cobourg, ON (June 30, 2025) – Venture13 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre has received a generous grant of $5,000 from the Rotary Club of Cobourg to sustain its STEM programming for youth aged 11-14 in Cobourg.

The Venture13 team consistently receives interest throughout the year from parents hoping to enroll their children in summer camps, and the staff at Venture13 have set a goal of expanding programming to include PA Days and March Break into 2026 and the years to follow. The funding received from Rotary will go toward meeting growing demand and continuing to deliver a high-quality, engaging experience for youth aged 11–14.

“This generous donation from the Rotary Club of Cobourg allows us impact and reach even more youth through accessible, high-quality STEM education. Venture13 will put this funding toward upgrading its technology, a key requirement for the youth STEM camps,” said Mayor Lucas Cleveland.

The Rotary Club’s contribution reflects its ongoing commitment to education, community development, and youth empowerment, which closely aligns with Venture13’s mandate to leverage business support programming, accelerate tech-based start-ups, foster a STEM education and offer an enriching learning environment.
