Municipal Offices Closed and Cobourg Transit Not Running on April 3, 2026
Cobourg, ON (March 30, 2026) – The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents that all municipal buildings will be closed, and Cobourg Transit will not be running, on Friday, April 3, 2026, due to the Good Friday holiday.
Municipal building closures on Friday, April 3, include:
- Building 7 Public Works will be closed, however on-call staff can be reached for emergencies by calling the after-hours number: 905-372-9971.
- Cobourg Community Centre (750 D'Arcy Street)
- Cobourg Public Library (200 Ontario Street) – The library will also be closed on Sunday, April 5, and Monday, April 6.
- Venture13 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre (739 D’Arcy Street) – closed but open to members.
- Victoria Hall (55 King Street West) – Victoria Hall will also be closed on Sunday, April 5.
- Municipal Law Enforcement and Licensing (201 Second Street) – The building will be closed, but officers are working and available at 905-372-8380.
- Art Gallery of Northumberland (55 King Street West, Third Floor, West Wing) – The AGN will be open 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 4
Transit will operate as usual for the remainder of the weekend including regular service on Monday, April 6, 2025 (Easter Monday).
