Movies Under the Stars and Fireworks Postponed to May 31

Cobourg, ON (May 16, 2025) – Due to the rainy forecast, the first Movies Under the Stars and Fireworks event of 2025, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 17, has been postponed to Saturday, May 31, 2025.

While organizers explored the possibility of moving the event to another day over this weekend, that was not possible due to scheduling conflicts with vendors.

Movies Under the Stars
Experience Cobourg invites all residents and visitors to join us on Saturday, May 31 at Rotary Harbourfront Park (110 Albert Street). The movie Despicable Me 4 will begin at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.) on an outdoor inflatable screen.

Bring a blanket, lawn chair, bug spray, and popcorn, and enjoy a fun-filled evening for the whole family. This free event is proudly presented by Experience Cobourg and event sponsor Milner Financial Cobourg.

Fireworks Display
Stick around after the movie for a spectacular fireworks show over the Harbour, beginning at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31.
