Filming Notice: Murdoch Mysteries Returns May 26-27

Cobourg, ON (May 22, 2025) – The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents that CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries will return to film scenes in downtown Cobourg on Monday, May 26 and Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

Filming Schedule and Locations:

Monday, May 26 (afternoon/evening):

• Exterior of Prep Food Co, alleyway (First Street) entrance (approximately 4-8 p.m.)

Tuesday, May 27 (full day), various locations including:

• South side of King St. W near Brocanier’s Menswear / The Grubby Barber Shop
• King St. East, north and south sides
• Nessie’s British Shop to MacCoubrey Funeral Home Ltd.
• James W Gordon Insurance, filming on porch (duration: several hours)
• 142 King St. E

Roads and Parking:

• No full road closures, there will be Intermittent Traffic Control
• Production vehicles parking in Second Street Lot (partial lot only) and Albert Street Lot
• Horse and wagons will be parked on Second Street

Cobourg Police Services will be working directly with the production company to ensure safety and traffic control.
