Emergency Council Meeting Called for May 23, 2025 at 1 p.m.

Cobourg, ON (May 23, 2025) – The Town of Cobourg Legislative Services Division would like to inform all residents that an Emergency Meeting of Council will take place on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 1 p.m.

The meeting is being held to consider the following item:

•      In accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, Council will meet in Closed Session regarding advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose (s. 239 (2) (f)).

Please be advised that pursuant to section 5.7 of the Town of Cobourg Procedural By-law an Emergency Meeting has been called for the purposes of part of the meeting being held in Closed Session. The Public will see a Closed Session screen on the livestream of the Emergency Meeting indicating Council is in Closed Session.
