Council to Receive Community Grant Presentations at November 13 Budget Meeting

Cobourg, ON (November 6, 2024) – Cobourg Municipal Council will be receiving presentations from community groups seeking community grants at a Budget Meeting on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 3 p.m.

Each year, as part of the annual municipal budget deliberations, Council considers applications from community organizations requesting funding for a variety of purposes, including:

• Community Projects
• Operating Expenses
• In-Kind Contributions
• Special and Community Events
• Parking Permits

The 2025 municipal community grant applications were submitted in October. At the November 13, 2024, Community Grant Presentation Budget Meeting, applicants will be provided the opportunity to offer further information to Council and the community on their grant submissions. Presentations to Council are not mandatory. Applicants have been advised in advance of the meeting of their opportunity to do so.

The Town of Cobourg is pleased to continue to support local non-profits and community-based groups that contribute towards the quality of life for residents. Council and staff look forward to hearing more from these groups on their plans for the coming year.
