Community Invited to May 10 Town of Cobourg Greenhouse Open House

Enjoy a tour through the municipal greenhouse

Cobourg, ON (April 30, 2025) – The Town of Cobourg’s Community Services Division invites all residents to attend an Open House at the Town of Cobourg Greenhouse on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at 501 Thompson Street, Cobourg.

Join Rick Cromlish, the Town Park’s Department Horticulturist, and his team for guided tours of the greenhouse. Learn how town staff seed and transplant the annuals and perennials that will soon brighten Cobourg’s public flower beds and hanging baskets.

Highlights of the event include:                                                                  

• Guided tours led by the Town’s Horticulturist, Rick Cromlish, and the Parks Department team
• A look at how thousands of annuals and perennials are grown and prepared for planting across Cobourg
• Historic photo albums featuring past Floral Clock designs
• Complimentary coffee and refreshments
• BBQ lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., sponsored by Experience Cobourg
• A Mother’s Day giveaway (while supplies last)
• Fun and educational for all ages – a great outing for families and garden enthusiasts!
