Civic Awards Nomination Period Extended by One Week

Cobourg, ON (February 26, 2026) – The Civic Awards Committee is pleased to announce that the deadline to submit nominations has been extended by one week. Nominations will now be accepted until Friday, March 6 at 12 p.m.

The nomination form and awards category information can be found at www.cobourg.ca/CivicAwards.

There are two levels of Awards: The Major Awards for those who have volunteered for five years or more and have diverse volunteerism experience and the Distinguished Awards for those who have volunteered for a minimum of a year in the community.

How to Nominate

1. Review the awards categories and select the most appropriate category.
2. Complete the online nomination form.
3. Include all required information and supporting documentation by Friday, March 6, at 12 p.m. (noon).
