Refreshment Vehicle Licences
Refreshment Vehicles operating in the Town of Cobourg require a licence.
Refreshment Vehicle shall mean any vehicle whether motorized or not from which refreshments are offered for sale for consumption to the public and shall include a motor vehicle, motor assisted bicycle, trailer, bicycle, tricycle or any other vehicle drawn, propelled or driven by any kind of power, including muscular power, and includes fixed or mobile barbecues.
A refreshment vehicle licence is valid from issue date to December 31 of each year. A new licence is required each year.

How do I know if a refreshment vehicle has been licenced by the Town of Cobourg?
Refreshment Vehicles are required to display their Permit.
Special Event Refreshment Vehicle Licence
Special Event Refreshment Vehicle Licence is required for every Refreshment Vehicles operating at a Special Event within the Town of Cobourg limits. Applicants must obtain a Licence for each event.
Applicants can apply through the online permitting portal, Cloudpermit.ca
No person shall sell or offer to sell refreshments from a Refreshment Vehicle on any public highway within the Municipality whether owned by the Municipality, or the County of Northmberland or the Province of Ontario.
