Cobourg, ON (December 19, 2023) – The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents of the following schedule changes during the upcoming holiday season for municipal offices and transit.

Please note below the schedule changes due to Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

Victoria Hall Offices (55 King Street West); Venture13 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre, Reception and Economic Development Offices (739 D’Arcy Street); and Public Works Building 7 (740 Division Street) will all have the following office closures:

• Monday, December 25, 2023 – CLOSED
• Tuesday, December 26, 2023 – CLOSED
• Monday, January 1, 2024 – CLOSED

Cobourg Community Centre (750 D’Arcy Street)

• Sunday, December 24, 2023 – Open 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Monday, December 25, 2023 – Closed
• Tuesday, December 26, 2023 – Closed
• Sunday, December 31, 2023 – Open 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Monday, January 1, 2024 – Closed

Dates not listed are open regular hours.

Cobourg Public Library (200 Ontario Street):

• Sunday, December 24, 2023 – CLOSED
• Monday, December 25, 2023 – CLOSED
• Tuesday, December 26, 2023 – CLOSED
• Monday, January 1, 2024 – CLOSED

Cobourg Transit:

• Sunday, December 24, 2023 – 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. (regular hours)
• Monday, December 25, 2023 – No Service
• Tuesday, December 26, 2023 – 6:15 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (regular hours)
• Sunday, December 31, 2023 – 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. (regular hours)
• Monday, January 1, 2024 – No Service

All other dates, transit will run on regular schedule.

Art Gallery of Northumberland (55 King Street West, Third Floor, West Wing):
The Art Gallery is open until December 22, 2023, and then closed until January 2, 2024.

Regular Victoria Hall operating hours of 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

All 24-hour services such as winter road and sidewalk maintenance, Cobourg Fire and Cobourg Police Services remain uninterrupted over the holidays.
