Upcoming Temporary Closures of Municipal Administrative Offices
Cobourg, ON (December 8, 2023) – The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents that municipal administrative offices will be closed for a brief period on Monday, December 11 and Thursday, December 14, 2023.
The following municipal departments will be temporarily closed on Monday, December 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for an all-staff meeting:
- Finance Department – Those looking to drop-off payments may do so via the mailbox located on the west side of the building, off Third Street.
- Legislative Services and Municipal Clerks Office – please email clerk@cobourg.ca to leave a message with staff.
- Cobourg Box Office – online tickets are always available 24/7 at www.CobourgBoxOffice.ca
There will also be closures at all municipal reception offices on Thursday, December 14, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This includes the following:
- Finance Department
- Building and Planning Departments
- Legislative Services and Municipal Clerks Department
- Office of the CAO
- Cobourg Box Office
- Building Maintenance Department
- Municipal Law Enforcement and Licensing Department (Located at 201 Second Street/Cobourg Market Building) – To pay a parking ticket please visit Cobourg.ca/amps or to connect with staff please email bylawenforcement@cobourg.ca
- Public Works Office in Building 7 (740 Division Street)
- Venture13 office and Economic Development department
The Town of Cobourg thanks residents in advance for their understanding. Please note, these department closures do not impact municipal buildings or programs. Victoria Hall will remain open and accessible to members of the public and all essential services will remain in operation.
