
John Hayden Northumberland CFDC
John Hayden (BA, MA) is a Venture Catalyst with Northumberland CFDC, a member of the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA) and holds an Executive Certificate in Strategy & Innovation from MIT, where he participated in the Entrepreneurship Development Program in 2013. John was instrumental in devising and launching the $250,000 N100 tech start-up competition and has judged other competitions including the Ontario Centres of Excellence Make Your Pitch student entrepreneurship challenge.
Areas of expertise include ideation, startups, pitch decks and investment proposals, business strategy and innovation partnerships.

Kim Botrie Northumberland CFDC
Kim Botrie is a Northumberland CFDC Loans Manager. Formerly Senior Lending Services Officer with Ganaraska Credit Union, Kim worked in personal and mortgage lending for over fifteen years, earning her AMP designation. Additionally, Kim has experience garnered in commercial lending operations. Kim brings excellence in customer service to Northumberland CFDC clients in all business development programs. A proud lifetime resident of Northumberland County, Kim is also a dedicated Parent Council representative. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics at Trent University.
Areas of expertise include finance, funding, personal and business loans and mortgage lending.

Judy Selvig Northumberland CFDC
Judy has extensive experience in working with the business community and fostering partnerships. Judy has over twenty years experience in the field of community development and was recognized as Eastern Ontario Economic Developer of the Year in 2010. Judy completed the Economic Developers Association of Canada “Economic Development” University of Waterloo programs and has an Economic Developers of Ontario certificate in “Foreign Direct Investment”. In her role with the Northumberland CFDC, Judy oversees the Collaborative Economic Development Program, loans and funding as well as local Eastern Ontario Development Program.

Joe Miller Northumberland CFDC
Joe Miller (B.Sc., Notre Dame) is an entrepreneur, innovator and intellectual property specialist with extensive experience in technology transfer. Throughout his career he has led strategic ventures at the University Health Network (UHN), the Innovation Cluster, and Ontario Tech, where he was responsible for the University’s IP identification, evaluation, administration and commercialization.
Areas of expertise include IP value creation, technology evaluation, tech transfer, commercialization grant writing, collaborative strategies and start-up assistance.
