Recreation and Programs

The Recreation and Culture Division is responsible for the maintenance and development of Town of Cobourg owned and operated parks and recreation facilities as well as recreational, leisure and cultural services and programs for residents and visitors.

We work closely with community groups, volunteers and individuals as a facilitator to ensure that community and visitor needs are addressed.

Working together we offer a wide variety of recreational and leisure activities for children and adults.

Recreation Strategy and Implementation Plan

The Town of Cobourg has been undergoing a study to develop a Recreation Strategy and Implementation Plan to build capacity in its sports and recreation programming. The goal of this project is to have a long-term strategy to be used as a guide in developing recreational programs to enhance the diversity of opportunities afforded to residents and visitors of the Town of Cobourg.
