Cobourg, ON (October 18, 2019) – The Town of Cobourg’s Community Services Division is pleased to announce the launch of its new 2019 Fall/Winter Leisure Guide outlining the many recreational programs and services offered to the community.
Produced by the Community Services Division and developed in partnership with Northumberland News and Cats Media, significant research was conducted to achieve a detailed guide listing a variety of recreational and cultural programs offered throughout the community.
The Leisure Guide showcases programs and activities available for all age groups including children, youth, adults and seniors during the fall and winter months. Information is organized in four distinct categories: Arts & Culture, Recreation, Teams and Associations and Groups and Clubs. The guide also includes a preview of the upcoming summer 2020 camp opportunities for children and youth.
“The Leisue Guide was a goal identified by staff soon after the creation of the Community Services Division to improve customer service and to better improve community services," said Dean Hustwick, Director of Community Services. “I'm so pleased to be able to deliver to our residents this helpful guide, which also represents an important collaborative achievement for the Division's Marketing and Events Department and the Recreation and Culture Department."
Over 2,000 copies were delivered in the October 17th edition of the Northumberland News. Residents can also pick up guides at Cobourg Municipal Offices including Victoria Hall and the Cobourg Community Centre. Electronic versions are also available online at ExperienceCobourg.ca and Cobourg.ca.
