Cobourg, ON (September 9, 2019) – Today, Mayor John Henderson and the Cobourg Cougars unveiled a six-foot sign to help kick-off the 2019-20 Ontario Junior A Hockey League (OJHL) season and to officially congratulate the team on their 2017 National Championship win.
The commemorative sign stands six feet tall and will be a permanent fixture installed on the Cobourg Community Centre grounds, located at 750 D’Arcy Street just north of the front entrance. The sign reads “Home of 2017 National Champions Cobourg Cougars”, and features the hockey team’s championship logo.
